SA812 -- Ceramic Tile adhesive adhesive

Product Description

Shunan Ceramic Tile adhesive SA812 is a polymer modified cement based adhesion 

material. Ideal for all kinds of ceramic wall tiles and floor tiles with wide gap.

Scope of Use

1. Can be used on substrates that ready for coating and non-shringking: concrete, cement plaster, concrete panel, and brickwork with plaster directly

2. Can be used for water absoption less than 0.5%，Ceramic tile size (≤300*600) mm on the interior wall.

Substrate Preparation

1. Substrate must be even, sound, clean, free of dust, grease, waxiness or release agent which may cause separation.

2. Appearance coating should be cleaned, and the area of coating residue should be less than 20%.

3. Fresh concrete substrate can be tiled at age of 28 days, Fresh plaster substrate can be tiled at the age of 7days.

4. Old concrete and plaster substrate should be tiled after being cleaned by industrial detergent, washed by high pressure tap and dried in the air for 24 hours.

5. Substrate should be coating with Interface agent if Impregnate concrete with high coefficient of water absorption or dust is hard to remove.

6. Substrate should be wet inside and dry outside before construction in such conditions:high temperature, dry conditions, high coefficient of water absorption. 

Construction Methods

1.  Pour clean water into a mixing container by water/powder proportion of 1:4, before adding ceramic tile adhesive SA-812 slowly. Meantime, open agitator and start mixing evenly from top to bottom until completely free of lumps. Allow the mixture to nature for short time. Then mix again slightly before using.

2. Use a flat scraper to spread a layer of adhesive onto the whole substrate surface, then use suitable tooth side of scrape in the angle of 69°with the substrate to draw stripes in straight direction and then fix ceramic tile on.

3. It should be double-sided if fissure on the back of ceramic tile is too deep or the stone ( ceramic tile) is too big and heavy. Namely, both construction and substrate surface should be spread with adhesive. 

Coverage:

Theoretical coverage

3.5-7 kg/m2 under the condition of flat substrate.

The specific amount varies depending on different substrate and tiles.

Approx. 6 months if stored in a tightly sealed container,in cool and dry conditions. Use products in opened containers as soon as possible.
